Have you seen a large cluster of bees?

This is could be a swarm of honey bees. A swarm of bees is one of nature’s most fascinating and dramatic sights—and a completely natural part of the honeybee life cycle. When this happens, approximately half of the bees will leave their current domain, in search for a new place to live. Though not usually a cause for alarm, the scene can be quite frightening to the non-beekeeper.

What to do?

  • Keep calm and give them space.

  • Take a picture and note the location of the swarm.

  • Contact us here and we put the call out to our network of beekeepers who can remove the swarm safely.

What NOT to do?

  • Do not spray or disturb them.

  • Do not call the exterminator.
